How to monitor my website or blog uptime status

I’m apologize for hostingformula.info reader as you may face some downtime issue. Actually one of my best friend told me about this issue when he want to access posting about drupal and xampp.

He also suggest me to use monitoring service to let me know if this blog is down.

I agree and I choose free monitoring service from wasitup.

The interface is simple and easy to understand. Just enter the url and email address as shown in the picture.

I use gmail address where each line addressing downtime report for that day.

I got 4, 6 and the worst day was 15 🙁

Oh my GOD, to much for me and I can’t handle it anymore.
As I have enough data I decide to move hostingformula.info to new host www.bluehost.com .
I have good experience with this host and for my client.
Right now I’m confident to use it with following enhancements like :
  • process start throttler  (cpu throttling in cpanel menu) : no more worry when your blog/website get big hits.
  • speed and stability improvement
The last one that I use right now and you see is new address of hostingformula.
Yes, hostingformula.net is new address for hostingformula.info . I got this free domain forever as long I stay with bluehost.
I also start use wasitup with this new address and will post my experience with bluehost.
